Kolympithres
One of the most beloved and popular beaches on the island for a good reason. This unique beach is located near Naoussa and is easily accessible by car, bus or small boats. The granite formation of the rocks carved from the waves through millions of years is what makes it so magnificent. Kolympithres literally means swimming pools and was named this way because of the small sandy coasts between the rocks. This formation makes it ideal to choose between organised or more secluded beaches. Many water activities such as sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddling, wakeboarding and others will make your day even more thrilling. Grab a bite at the beach bars or taverns nearby and relax under the golden sun. Santa Maria
Santa Maria is always on the list of favorites. Only a 5-minute drive from Naoussa and you can find yourself in a small paradise with sandy beaches and shallow crystal emerald waters. Faragas
Located on the southern part of the island, close to Aliki village, Faragas is one of the most well-organised and popular beaches in Paros. Choose between a comfy sunbed at one of the best beach bars of the island or bring your towel and discover the more secluded rocky bays of this beach. Monastiri
Monastiri beach is located a few kilometers from Kolympithres beach, near the monastery of Agios Ioannis, in a beautiful small rocky bay. This organised sandy beach has a waist-water level for about 100 meters, offering not only an amazing swimming and snorkeling experience, but also a carefree day at the beach, if you are visiting with children, who have not yet learned how to swim. A great natural park, called Paros park, which facilitates fun events during the summer period, is only a few steps away. With three hiking trails, a nice cafe and a lovely lighthouse it is an unmissable spot on the island. Golden Beach
Golden Beach is located in the South part of Paros and is considered to be one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on the island. With its golden sandy shore, it extends for over 700m and its crystal clear turquoise waters are extremely refreshing during the summer season. Golden Beach, also known as Chrissi Akti, is very popular among windsurfers and kitesurfers. The beach tends to be very windy during July-August, which makes it the perfect spot for this kind of water sports. In fact, the Professional Windsurfing World Cup is being held there during the summer, gathering athletes from all over the globe to contest and watch the cup. Among other water sports, you can try scuba diving and snorkeling or just relax on a sunbed with a tasty cocktail in your hand. The beach bars located on the beach offer a variety of delicious and healthy meals that will keep a smile on your face for the whole day.
